The results presented here are preliminary and may change as trial samples are cleaned and processed for quality.

Heat maps for the Davis and Fresno location names have suffixes, which mean the following:

  • LN – Low nitrogen application (nitrogen limited)
  • LW – Low water application, late-season (water limited)
Also, it is important to note that it can be misleading to extrapolate the performance of a variety from a single location in a single season. Therefore, the results are not intended as variety recommendations and should not be used as such. The true performance of a variety is most reliable when based on data taken across multiple locations and seasons. When final results are presented for the 2018 data, they will include summaries across multiple seasons and locations, as appropriate.
